FA Cup 2016 Predictions

The Premier League is away until Tuesday and we are used to being pretty busy on a Saturday, so instead of kicking back and chilling out this weekend we thought we'd take a look at the thrills and spills that the FA Cup Third Round might have to offer.

The third round of fixtures kicked off in style last night when Premier League Liverpool visited Exeter's St James' Park and were lucky to escape with a 2-2 draw after another goalkeeping howler from Bogdan. The romance of the cup has already captured our hearts this weekend following that cracking match that pitted teams separated by 3 divisions - so we thought we'd take a look at some of the potential upsets and where there might be some value to be had in terms of betting returns. Just a word on that, if you are gambling then please do so responsibly and remember that if you do click through one of our links then we do receive a small amount of commission.

Top FA Cup Tips of the day - Saturday

There are plenty of fixtures to sink your teeth in to today and we have selected the ones that we think will offer the best value.

Wycombe Vs. Aston Villa - Wycombe to win - 7/2 with Ladbrokes plus a £50 free bet

Aston Villa are rock bottom of the Premier League and can't buy a win anywhere at the moment. They face a tough trip to Wycombe in the early televised kick-off and although Wycombe lost their last league game, they won their 3 previous games and sit comfortably in 6th place in League 2. It is likely that Remi Garde will look to experiment a little in this game and we can see only one outcome here at some fantastic odds.

If you do fancy Villa to win then you can get enhanced odds of 4/1 (was 3/1) for Villa to win and both teams to score with Ladbrokes here.

Man Utd Vs. Sheff Utd - Man Utd to win and both teams to score 11/4 (was 9/4) with Ladbrokes plus a £50 free bet

Man Utd Vs. Sheffield Utd is the other televised game of the day and doesn't kick off until 5.30pm (GMT) and LVG has already admitted that anything other than a win here would put his team under scrutiny again after a good start to 2016. They looked much better against Swansea and we fully expect them to win here, but Sheffield United do have an excellent cup pedigree and have caused big teams problems many times over the last few seasons.

It won't be plain sailing for Van Gaal and his players - we expect to see a win for the Reds with their Sheffield counterparts getting a goal too. This enhanced odds bet is a very healthy 11/4 with Ladbrokes.

Norwich Vs. Man City - City -1 to win 2/1

[button link="http://goo.gl/QSqey7"] Latest odds and bet here[/button]

Man City will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing defeat at the hands of Everton in midweek and will be looking to send out a message that they are firing in all competitions still this season.

Sergio Aguero looks set to start this game and we could see Bony and Aguero start together as Pellegrini looks to make a statement. This game will most likely either end in a draw or the most likely outcome of a whitewash for Man City. If the latter is the case then this handicap bet of -1 for Man City is massive value at 2/1! Get these great odds with Ladbrokes here whilst they last.
