Game Week 31 Captain Picks

Following the blank for Aguero that cost so many FPL managers valuable points in GW30 we were very happy that we completely disregarded the Argentine in our tips last week and with our number one pick Harry Kane bagging two and our differential pick (Arnautovic) scoring one we were pretty happy with our selections. Game week 31 captain choice is completely open and we have 3 top selections for you to choose from this week. Game Week 31 Captain Pick No. 3: Gylfi Sigurdsson
There are a number of really top picks this week which means there is real potential for differential points from the captain choice. The best differential pick this week surely has to go to Siggy who has rediscovered his form with 7 goals in his last 11 games. A home win against Villa this weekend should be just enough to see Swansea to safety this season but if 3 points do evade them then they will be right in the thick of a relegation dog fight.
I can’t see anything other than a Swansea win and scoring goals has not been a problem of late. The defeat to Bournemouth last weekend was a blip and one that they should recover from at home to Aston Villa who are now destined to be playing in England’s second tier for the first time since the Premier League was founded.
Siggy is the main man at Swansea and I expect him to be involved in everything the Swans do this weekend and I cannot see Villa conceding less than 2 goals. Hopefully at least one of those will belong to the forgotten man Siggy who should make the top 10 midfielders after this game week.
Game Week 31 Captain Pick No. 2: Romelu Lukaku
Arsenal were taught a very difficult lesson on Wednesday night in the Nou Camp and this game will not be much easier. Everton have been much improved of late and Lukaku has 3 goals and an assist in his last 4 Premier League games as well as a fine run of cup form too.
We are backing Lukaku to kill of Arsenal’s season and a high score draw or even a high scoring Arsenal defeat could be in the offing here. Arsenal have had the worst possible preparation for this game having had to give their all in the Champions League against Barcelona and Everton should have enough to edge their opponents here. The Arsenal defence is not much to shout about and with Cech still missing through injury they don’t have that insurance in goal.
At least one goal for Lukaku is likely in this game!
