Game Week 32 Captain Picks
Sponsored by Premier Punt
Now the international games are out of the way (and I mean that in the nicest possible sense) we can turn our full attention to the important matters at hand – and that is of course, our Fantasy Premier League game week 32 captain choice. On top of this of course, most astute managers will also be keeping at least one eye on the back to back double game weeks that are looming for the following two weeks. That being said, this article is all about the GW32 captain tips so to give an edge of focus to the ever-difficult armband selection, we will be solely focusing on the captain pick for the purposes of this article.
The last few weeks have seen some really good returns from our captain picks and our differential captains have also reaped dividends in that time. Today, we look at three potential picks who we deem to have the best chances of scoring big this week. Game Week 32 Captain Pick No.3 – Alexis Sanchez
Who doesn’t like Alexis Sanchez? He is one of those players that you never hear a bad word said about from anyone. As if we didn’t love him enough already, he is now off buying artificial pitches for in Chile for the children of his home village to play football on. As lovely as that is, it is his work on the pitch in the Premier League that we are most concerned with and that has been much improved over the last 3 games with 1 goal and 2 assists in that time.
We have said for some time that we feel that Sanchez will have a strong finish to the season as he benefits from the injury enforced break midway through this season and with a must win home game against Watford, Sanchez and Arsenal will be looking to exact revenge for the 2-1 defeat they suffered last month in the FA Cup at the hands of the Hornets.
Sanchez carries the added benefit of some excellent differential potential with only 11% of managers owning him. With half an eye on GW34 when Arsenal have two really winnable home games, Sanchez would not be a bad transfer in this week. He has to overcome a long journey back from South America but he is not the type to try and miss a game through tiredness and he should recover in plenty of time for this one.
Game Week 32 Captain Pick No.2 – Jamie Vardy
Jamie Vardy might not have scored in his last 5 Premier League outings but he has gained two assists in that time and it is hard not to be impressed by the way he went about his business against very good opposition during the international break. An exquisite goal against Germany after just a few minutes of coming on, followed by a clinical goal against the Dutch a few days later, means that he is very much on the radar again from an FPL perspective. A home game against Southampton is never going to be easy, but the Saints have looked far from secure at the back following that run of clean sheets they had in January and February and Vardy might even have picked up a few pointers on how to beat Forster from his time in training with England.
The Leicester bandwagon can continue to roll here and we expect Vardy to get in on the action as he continues to have the season of his life. It’s almost like someone is scripting it… hang on a minute?!
Anyway, whether or not the result is what Hollywood would be looking for, Vardy has a really good chance to bag his 20th Premier League goal of the season here – a top captain pick!
