Game Week 4 FPL Podcast Team
With game week 4 looming around the corner we took to the podcast on Wednesday to discuss our team and make our changes. Quigliano shouted out a Delia Smith ‘Where are you?’ for Memphis Depay, but it was the shout from the previous week Wayne Rooney who has got the chop. Unfortunately, this discussion did take place before the hat-trick he scored against Brugge, but we have seen this before from Manchester United. The fact of the matter remains that Manchester United have looked poor in the league so far and it may well be that LVG’s approach is better suited to European football than the fast paced nature of the Premier League.
Game Week 4 Changes:
Anyhow, we have dropped Rooney for game week 4 and replaced him with Callum Wilson who hit a hat-trick of his own last week and scored 17 points in total, saving us £4.9m in total for re-investment next week. Our initial thoughts are to bring Pedro in for Jordon Ibe on Saturday (don’t forget his price won’t rise until at least 2am Sunday (GMT). To hear our full justifications you will have to listen to the podcast which you can find below.
We would have loved Pedro for GW4 but we cannot justify the points hit – incidentally, Pedro is also the subject of our Premier Punt Discounted Player of the Week – get him for just £7.5m – a discount that is exclusive to our podcast listeners. Head to Premier Punt now to get the discount.
The next decision (which was probably a bit easier) was to choose our captain. On the basis that almost everyone in the league who has Aguero will be captaining Aguero against Watford this week – we will be going with Aguero. Vice Captain has to be Benteke up against West Ham. Hazard is another shout at home to Crystal Palace but the form of Man City is not to be sniffed at and Aguero should be nearing full match sharpness after his exertions in the Copa America.
We are currently sitting at a dismal 567th in the league right now and we will eat our virtual hat’s if we are not higher after this week. The big guns are in town this week, we are just praying that Rooney doesn’t go on a shooting spree!
Don’t forget to check out our Game Week 4 Tips Part One and Part Two and we will be back with our GW4 Captain Pick tomorrow afternoon. If you enjoy the podcast, then why not subscribe on iTunes or on our YouTube Channel.
